Family In Recovery is a comprehensive approach with three specific interventions, which are:

Family Preservation Program. The Family Preservation Program supports women in recovery from the effects of substance abuse. The specialized individual, group, family and children’s activities are provided for the women in the program. These services allow them the opportunity to receive treatment within in their communities while still maintaining consistency in their work and family lives. For program information….

WILLPOWER OPTIONS RESOURCES and DETERMINATION (W.O.R.D.) The W.O.R.D. Program is an addictions treatment for teen-agers, with an additional emphasis on prevention. For program intake please contact us at word@consortium-inc.org.

W.O.R.D. 1 (Willpower Options Resources & Directions) The W.O.R.D.1 program is an addictions treatment program for adolescents, providing them with counseling, treatment, case management, recreational activities and transportation during convenient after-school hours.

 W.O.R.D.2 (Willpower Options Resources & Directions) The W.O.R.D.2 program provides Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient treatment to adolescents who are involved in the Juvenile Justice System as a diversion alternative for juveniles arrested for non-violent substance abuse offenses.

OPIATE TREATMENT. The purpose of the Opiate Treatment Program is to assist narcotic dependent persons in eliminating their use of heroin, modifying the behaviors related to its use, and providing a treatment experience that assists them in making decisions that support a healthy and productive lifestyle. We serve adults, 18 and older, with a minimum of a one-year history of heroin dependency and current symptoms of dependency. The e-mail address is methadone@consortium-inc.org.

CARE COORDINATION and COMMUNITY OUTREACH SERVICES. Provides pre-test counseling, and education services for consumers about the transmission of HIV and Hepatitis C to identify risk behaviors, to develop a risk reduction plan and administer testing. Follow-up, referral and case management is provided.
