The Consortium, Inc. is proud to partner with multiple funding sources that assist us in providing quality services to our community. We are happy to announce that we have recently been named a United Way grantee. The Pew Charitable Trusts provides support for our Across Ages program, an intergenerational mentoring program that operates out of our Children's Division. Across Ages also receives generous support from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Public Welfare. The Philadelphia Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure helped us to establish our Health Opportunities that Promote Empowerment (HOPE) breast health awareness program. This program serves low-income women in recovery with serious mental illness and/or addiction in West and Southwest Philadelphia. Support from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency has allowed us to expand our Functional Family Therapy (FFT) program to target youth who have presented with violent delinquent offenses. FFT, which is part of our Children's Division, is a nationally recognized Blueprint program that has been named a model for treating seriously delinquent youth by the U.S. Surgeon General. The Helen Bader Foundation, Inc. supports the Parent Education Project (PEP), which is part of the Family Recovery Empowerment Education (FREE) program, an educational and therapeutic support group for parents and caregivers of youth receiving services through our Children's Division. We also offer a hepatitis C support group to members of our Addictions Division, which is generously funded by Roche Pharmaceuticals. Our HCV Care Coordination and Community Outreach program, also operated through our Addictions Division, provides HCV prevention, education, and case management services to individuals with serious mental illness and/or addiction. Services include outreach, HCV testing, follow-up, counseling services, educational sessions, and vaccinations for hepatitis A and B. These services are provided through funding from the Greater Philadelphia Urban Affairs Coalition.
